About the Role

  • Full understanding and hands on experience of A/P, A/R, F/A, P/R, M/E and Financial Reports

  • Establish detailed guidelines and procedures on all Financial Accounting in accordance with the operating standards and IFRS guidelines

  • Prepare and supervise all Accounting activities and provide guidance to Accounting staff in all areas of work

  • Lead and manage the group accounting team; ensure accuracy of all reports submitted by other Accounting staff

  • Responsible for all entries made to the general ledger and review detailed general ledger to insure proper expense and income allocation

  • Responsible for the monthly bank reconciliation. Journalize all relevant bank-reconciling entries not otherwise booked. Verify that all necessary entries to the general ledger from the bank statement are made;

  • Help coordinate personnel and payroll functions, including enrollment of new employees and development of staff regulation and procedures;

  • Review all Sub-Ledger adjustments for approval by the Group CFO and ensuring that all adjustments have supporting documentation;

  • Creates financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information;

  • Manage monthly and yearly account closing process to ensure efficiency and timeliness;

  • Control new or existing branches’ budget and do variance analysis;

  • Overview and update accounting policy and procedure, oversee record management and internal control;

  • Participate in management meetings, professional development, and other activities as requested

  • Other tasks not specifically listed in this document may be assigned from time to time.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or related field;

  • Minimum 5 years’ hands on experience in Accounting or relevant skills (experienced in automotive industry should be a plus)

  • Advance understanding of Cambodia Tax knowledge a must;

  • Strong undertaking strategic analysis and multi-tasking skill;

  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management and motivational;

  • Strong communication skill in liaising effectively with co-workers, subordinates, superiors to exchange or convey information;

  • Good knowledge of computer Accounting System such as Sage, Xero, and/or QuickBooks.

  • Strong computer skill (MS Office and Email),

  • Very Good command of English and Khmer, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and across different teams.
